Unless otherwise noted all OrDella Rods are manufactured in Vancouver, WA using highly regarded Rainshadow rod blanks produced by Batson Enterprises out of Sequim, WA. These blanks are light weight, sensitive and have an action our customers often describe as the best they’ve fished. Of course a great rod is more than the blank so we use top of the line components; including stainless steel guides fitted with TiCH PVD coated zirconium rings (a super hard ceramic with performance that is similar to SiC), graphite reel seats (with exposed blank cut-outs on our bass and steelhead lines for ultimate sensitivity) and Grade A cork handles. Our design philosophy prioritizes performance, durability and the elegance of simplicity well executed. Our rods are hand assembled by skilled craftswomen (and men) who have been building custom rods for more years than we’re allowed to disclose. They take pride in their work and it shows.
